Pr. Dr. Gladys Kerubo
KUSDA Church Chaplain
Grace and peace to you, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve as Chaplain to the Kenyatta University Seventh-day Adventist Church. Whether you have worshipped with us for years or are reading this before your very first Sabbath on campus, know that you are deeply valued here — not for what you can offer the church, but simply because you are loved by God.
University life brings its own unique pressures: deadlines, exams, uncertainty about the future, and the daily work of figuring out who you are becoming. KUSDA exists to walk with you through all of it — to be a spiritual home where your faith is nurtured, your questions are welcomed, and your gifts are given room to grow.
Our calling as a chaplaincy
Working alongside our Patron, Associate Pastor, and the Board of Elders, my role is to provide spiritual oversight and pastoral care for this community — through preaching, discipleship, counselling, and simply being present with you in seasons of joy and difficulty alike. If you are walking through a personal crisis, discerning a decision, or would simply value prayer and conversation, my door — and the doors of our whole chaplaincy team — are open to you.
I look forward to worshipping with you this Sabbath, and to seeing how God will use KUSDA to shape you into the disciple He has called you to be.
In His service,
Pr. Dr. Gladys Kerubo
